Omega Keystone multimedia wall plates and modular inserts may be used to connect the following devices:

Modems/Computers (Cat5e wire)
Speakers

Video connections (RCA-Type)
Coax for Satellite or Cable ("F"-type)

What is the Omega Keystone system?

Keystone is a system of wall plates and snap-in module inserts that allow you to combine audio, video, and phone jacks together in a single wall plate.  You no longer need to install separate wall plates for phone, video, internet, television and speaker connections. The wall plates come with 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 port openings and can accommodate Keystone module inserts for devices in any combination.

Keystone Installation Instructions:

•    Simply run the cable you wish to connect to the electrical or low-voltage cable box locations you desire, prior to installing drywall.
•    You may also use the following Omega items to mount wall plates to drywall in locations that do not require electrical boxes.
        Omega Part # CF1 (Drywall Mounting Bracket)
        Omega Part # CF1S (Drywall Bracket-Stud Mount)
•    Install drywall and cut openings at wall-box locations.
•    Terminate wire with the appropriate Keystone module insert and snap the insert  into the Keystone wall plate.
•    Mount the Keystone wall plate to the electrical box or drywall mounting bracket.

Installation Note: Low voltage wire does not require the installation of  metal wall-boxes.
